‘çöp(m)adam’ is a play on words combining 'çöpadam' and 'çöp' (meaning 'garbage').

çöp(m)adam is a project created to provide opportunities for women who have never earned any income in their lives.

We believe that everyone has the right to live with dignity. We also believe that everyone has certain responsibilities for the betterment of the world. By purchasing our product, you help our women live with dignity. Additionally, with this product, you fulfill a part of your responsibility for the good of the world.

As humanity, we produce too much waste — selfishly and unnecessarily. The planet cannot cope with the waste we produce or with pollution. Since our ideal does not always align with reality, we, as çöp(m)adam, are selective about waste. We recycle, repurpose, and use discarded materials.

The raw materials, except for thread and zippers, are chosen from items that have been thrown away and never used. Most of the raw materials consist of previously used but cleaned and sterilized items.
