GENDER EQUALITY

  • Ending all forms of discrimination against all women and girls everywhere.

  • Eliminating all forms of violence against all women and girls in public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation.

  • Recognizing and valuing unpaid care and domestic work through the provision of public services, infrastructure, and social protection policies and promoting shared responsibility within the household and the family as nationally appropriate.

  • Ensuring women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life.

  • Adopting and strengthening sound policies and enforceable legislation for the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls at all levels.

REDUCING INEQUALITIES

  • Sustaining income growth of the bottom 40% of the population at a rate higher than the national average by 2030.

  • Empowering and promoting the social, economic, and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic or other status by 2030.

  • Ensuring equal opportunity and reducing inequalities of outcome, including by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices and promoting appropriate legislation, policies, and actions in this regard.

  • Adopting policies, especially fiscal, wage, and social protection policies, to progressively achieve greater equality.
